Q: How do I join a Freewheeling Adventure?

A: Please make a reservation on this website and we will confirm by email.

 

Q: May I join the tour if only one person ?

A: Yes of course! Our Adventures are a great way to meet other travelers.

 

Q: Our group would like a private Adventure, is this possible?

A: Yes! We are flexible with both time and dates. Please let us know how many people in your group and when you would like to go.

 

Q: How do I pay for the Adventure?

A: Please pay in cash on the day of the Adventure after meeting your leader.

 

Q: What if I must cancel an Adventure?

A: Please let us know by email or call 090.3450.5750. The earlier you let us know, the more opportunity for someone new to join.

 

Q: Do you accept children for your Adventures ?

A: For safety and the size of our bikes, we ask children to be 12 years or older. (10 years minimum for hiking adventures)

Young people must also have basic cycling skills and some common sense!

 

Q: How difficult are your Adventure Courses ?

A: Our courses travel up and down many small hills in Tokyo but our bikes have gears and we don’t rush. We take many breaks for stretching, snacks and photos. You should try and start the adventure well rested.

 

Q: What if it is raining on the day of our Adventure ?

A: All Cycling Adventures will have the opportunity to switch to Urban Hiking, reschedule for another day, or cancel at no charge.

 

Q: What kind of bikes do you offer?

A: We offer easy to ride Japanese bikes with gears, fenders and comfortable seats. Think beach cruiser for the city.

 

Q: What is included in the Adventure cost?

A: All public transportation, bicycles, helmets, gloves are included. Lunch is not included. We will stop for lunch at a location with food choices (Japanese, Vegetarian, Halal).
